RICS Valuations

This is a property market value assessment of your property based on the property’s condition, market data and recent sales. The process can be in the following forms:

  • Visual inspection of the property and the surrounding land (most popular inspection type)
  • Desktop valuation: a valuation conducted without a physical visit to the subject property. To provide you with a valuation, we rely on online information such as Land Registry records, RightMove data and local nowledge.
  • Drive-by valuation: a quick, exterior-only assessment to confirm the property’s existence and general condition. This is done by driving by the subject property and checking for major external issues, e.g., significant cracks in the walls or problems with the roof. This is for low-risk properties
